Mari Thomas is an established jeweller, artist and businesswoman. With over 34 years of experience, she owns her own gallery and workshop in Llandeilo Carmarthenshire designing and creating contemporary Welsh jewellery that has been exhibited worldwide.

She has designed pieces for many dignitaries including King Charles III and establishments including BBC Wales, Wales Millennium Centre, the Welsh Rugby Union.  During her career she has won numerous awards including the prestigious Gold Medal for Craft and Design at the National Eisteddfod of Wales.

An alumni of Goldman Sachs10KSB business programme graduating from Saiid Business School Oxford University, she is a visiting lecturer for enterprise at several universities and in recognition for her contribution to the arts in Wales she received an honorary fellowship from the University of Wales Trinity St David.
