We entered the awards after hearing about it on social media. The interview process was quite intense with the panel of five judges but it was great to do something different like that and explain how much our little business means to us.
We are so thankful to have won Retail Business of the Year, the award means so much to us, we’re such a small shop that we never thought we’d be the winners. The evening was amazing, so well organised and lots of fun, was great to be with so many other incredible businesses from our county.
We have had a tough few years with my Dad’s health but are so proud of how we’ve managed to keep the business going and how we’re continuing to grow with new ideas and a lot of hard work, while also being two busy mums.
We’re excited about launching our Make Your Own Wedding Rings Workshops last year, this has been such a lovely experience for us working with loved-up couples creating their forever wedding bands. We’re looking forward to continuing these and making our bespoke handmade jewellery in 2025.
We feel so lucky to be in Carmarthenshire, it’s such a supportive, talented county full of amazing people. Laugharne is a really special place for us having being in the township for almost 36 years, we have such a lovely community surrounding us.
